AI Treasure Chest
A chest that closes when you come closer.
This exhibit uses a powerful metaphor to address the lack of transparency in AI algorithms. As you approach, the antique-style chest, labelled "AI", closes its lid completely. The visible treasure is immediately hidden from view.
This physical action prompts reflection on AI's black box nature: a system whose attractive promise and complex decision-making processes remain deliberately opaque and hidden, challenging us to consider what we can and cannot know about the technology that shapes our lives.
